Knowledge is power. 

Support OLP's Scholastic Book Fair! This year the fair will be hosted in the newly renovated library from February 7th through 13th.  The benefits of the book fair include: 

• Power.  Reading for pleasure unlocks the power of information, imagination and self-discovery. 
• Increased motivation.  Book fairs give children motivation to read by offering a wide selection of engaging and affordable books to choose from.  The wide selection ensures books for students on every reading level and increases the likelihood for students to desire to continue reading.  Scholastic book fairs feature books from many different publishers and genres, many which students can look at before deciding to purchase. 
• Fundrasing.  Book fairs help raise money for school libraries and reading programs.
• Community.  Fairs give parents and their children an opportunity to select and read books together.
• Gratitude. Book fairs can instill a lifelong love of reading.  
• Better education.  Book fairs give teachers a chance to see what their students are interested in and buy books they might want for their classroom, which in turn, leads to better overall education for all students. 

Special Dates & Times:
Friday, February 9th: Parents may shop from 7:30-9:00 am.
Tuesday, February 13th: Parents may shop  from 6:00-7:00pm.
February 2nd- February 16th: Parents may shop the online book fair if unable to attend in person.
