Today the kindergarten, first grade, and second grade classes went to see The Star.  Everyone had an awesome time viewing the fun animated movie based on the Nativity of Jesus, told from the animals’ point of view.  It was a great way to celebrate the second week of Advent while remembering the importance of the night when the wise men followed the star that led to our Savior.

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, "Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him." -Matthew 2:1-12
